Rarely write reviews, but this product really helps with one a year grill grate cleaning. Wish I would have taken before pic, as these grills were really crusted. I’ve use this product 2ys in a row, found it is better to take a wire brush and get as much of the gunk off as possible before soaking overnight in product. Then next am, rinse, scrape a bit with a wire scrub pad, and most all of gunk is off. These grates are 4 years old. Stainless steel, so I am not sure how this works on other types of grates, but if you have stainless steel grates, this product is a real time saver.I’ve used this for years. Glad that Amazon had it since it’s impossible to find anymore! It does the job as described.I always have a hard time scrubbing these oven racks by hand after using the clean cycle in my oven. After seeing this product and reading the reviews I was a bit of a skeptic. Every time I scrubbed the racks the tops came out not bad but the bottoms just kept accumulating more gunk and after awhile just wouldn’t come off anymore. I must say I was pleasantly surprised! After the required 8 hours of soaking as directed it took off over 90% of all gunk. I just used steel wool and dawn for less than 10 min and I have sparkling clean racks top and bottom. Now this oven is 12 years old and I use it at least 3-4 times a week. I am amazed at this product. Will definitely buy again when needed. I only wish I had taken a before photo. It was pretty nasty.Product works great. I wish the cleaning bag was about 3 inches longer. I have to wrap the bag that is supplied in a black garbage bag. I also found that setting the bag outside in the sun helps the product work even better. Bit on the pricy side but worth the time saving hours.Easy to use. Was too impatient to wait overnight but half a day still did wonders and made the racks silver and shiny.I got this to use on oven racks & BBQ grills, plus tried it on some baking pans - used 1 pkg for the oven racks & baking pans, and another for the BBQ grills. First, very pleased that it didn't have an overwhelming "chemical" smell. 2nd, fairly easy to use. Lots of grease & gunk came off the various items. However, I didn't get the near-miraculous results shown in other reviewers pictures. I think that would take a rack etc that hadn't gone so long without cleaning as mine. I left the items to soak overnight, so they were in the bag much longer than 8 hrs. One of the racks I was cleaning had an extension on it that wound up poking through the plastic bag, so that's something to watch out for. I think I should have put some of the baking /broiling pans in a bag of their own, I think there were too many items in that bag for the goop to evenly cover everything. Also, I didn't think to pay attention to what the pans were made out of -- looks like my cookie sheet was aluminum, and the gel etched that badly. I think I'm going to have to replace that item. When I took the items out of the bag & rinsed them off, there was stuff still stuck on in places. Much rinsed off, but some didn't. Some scrubbing only got me so far. Also, after the fact, a friend said, for the BBQ grill, you can just turn the grill up to high and all that stuff will bake off. I'll try that next time. My take on this -- if you can afford it, and you have an item that doesn't have a lot of caked-on grime, should work great. If you've got items that haven't gotten regular scrubbing, it'll help but won't necessarily make those things like new. Don't overload the bags. And pay attention to what kind of metal you're trying to clean, b/c I can tell you it's not a good solution for aluminum.I love this product. Never saw the racks look so cleanWhile unlike some reviewers my oven racks didn’t exactly look brand new after using this product, they were substantially better. I did have to do a little bit of scrubbing but nothing major. It removed the majority of the baked on crud. I would use it again. Note to self: clean the oven racks more frequently and it won’t be an issue.
