Great basic oven mitts. Who knew they would be so hard to find. I didn't want the heavier weight industrial mitts because I would lose maneuverability and grip. I have a heavier pair and have almost dropped cookie sheets and cast iron pots too many times because of this. If you just need basic mitts to pull stuff out the oven or move and drain pots, these are for you. If, for some reason, you think you'll be holding something extremely hot for more than 2 minutes at a time, these aren't for you. There mitts are slightly longer than usual so you will get some more arm heat protection. Sold as a set of 5 so always nice to have back ups.These gloves are super fun there just right there not too bulky and they're not too thin. I did not realize that buying oven mitts has now become a science they have so many kinds of oven mitts that I've never even heard of I just wanted something simple to replace my torn up oven minutes. They're not designed for incredibly high he eats but they do the job and having many sizes and colors to choose from is a real bonus unless you're going to be grilling over a fire or something I highly recommend these oven mitts. Also Amazon had excellent customer service because I didn't get the minutes and things got confused and Amazon was very good about giving me a refund so I could order another setThese are just what I wanted. They are lightweight and work long enough to get the hot food from the oven to the counter top. They are economical and have lasted for a long time. The colors don't bleed on other items in the wash.The colors that are shown are not correct. There was a darker green one and another color I don't remember as I returned them. The other sets I purchased were perfect. It would've made no difference except I had purchased pot holders to match to match the first sets.CANADIAN MADE | That is all you need to know. Anything from Canada is great, period. They are a great product. They are flexible, well padded, longish in the cuff. GREAT PRICE \ FUN COLORS Silicon "rubber" covered mitts are not flexible to grip items. These feel like they have a bit more padding than other mitts that i have used, but maybe i am wrong about that or don't recognize that because they are new the stuffing is all still in place. Anyhow, i like the product and how they work. Good choice.Bought for a christmas preswnt. They were good material and came in 5 pack so i could give a couple to a several people along with dish towels for their present. Colors looked just like the picture. Not too thin but not too thick either.A must for the kitchenIt is hard to find oven mitts in my area so I was very happy to find these. I love them and will purchase more if I every need them.
