PB050012 Viking Appliance Oven Burner Replaces PB050009, this is used for the right and left side burners
A much better option price wise than the OEM Viking part. As others have found, one of the pair did need a little tweaking in a vise as the bend was not quite right. Made of mild steel. In hindsight I might have chosen the pair of SS equivalent if I had seen them before I ordered this part.Overall, worked great for my Viking oven. The screw holes connecting the igniter to these gas emitters were a bit tight, so had to use a socket wrench to get them in. The screws sit a bit askew as a result, but they did the job.One of the gas emitters I received had the tapered end a little off angle, so the fitment was tighter than expected, but I was able to make it work.Other than the minor fitment issues, they're working great. The oven got to 400 degress within 15 minutes. Previously, one of the burners wouldn't light at all, so it would never get above 350.All in all, a good purchase. The install is easy, so don't be hesitant about repairing this yourself. Took me 30 minutes total to replace both ignitors and emitters. We've had our Viking oven for 15 years. About 5 years ago, we began noticing longer than usual heat up times. At its worse point it was taking over an hour to reach 400 degrees. We assumed it might be a bad thermostat but the new one made no difference. Had I thought it through I should have suspected the burners all along. Once I put the new burners and ignitors in, the oven came roaring back to life. It now takes 14 minutes to reach 400 degrees and 17 minute to reach 500 degrees. Installation was pretty easy and took under an hour.It was very easy to replace the burners, which I did at the same time as replacing my dead ignitors. A YouTube video clearly showed the steps required (which were quite easy. I've never done this before and it only took about 30 minutes (much of which was spent cleaning the oven).Bought two igniters and two burn tubes for my Viking free standing range (VGIC365) watched you tube videos on how to replace, very easy job!!! Thanks Viking.wires were long enough, and had the right connectors. Igniters were packaged very nicely in the box and same with the burn tubes. The holes that attach the igniters to the burn tube were small, so I drilled them one size larger because the screws were not screwing in.Oven not lights without a “WHOOOOOOSH!!!!” Sound and no longer seems like it’s going to explode!!Well worth the money, would recommend and would buy again (lets hope I don’t need too)I ordered two burners, one for each side of the oven. After disassembling our oven, I realized one of the two pieces was missing the support bracket where the igniter mounts. Now I need to return the defective burner, wait for the new burner, and re-assemble my oven so at least one side works. Be careful to check both burners, if you order two at a time like I did, to make sure they are complete before disassembling your oven. These worked fine for me. I had a little difficulty attaching the igniters to the burners -- the holes were smaller than my original burners, and I couldn't reuse the existing screws because they were too large. Fortunately I had other screws on hand that more or less fit. (I hope those screws can handle the heat.)This item arrived damaged. It was clearly placed in the shipping box damaged. Looks to be a return that was resold damaged. The mounting slot used to attach the ceramic heating element that lights the burner was broken off. It was clear the soldering that held it on was of poor quality. Given this was 2 days before Christmas and my wife needed the oven to prepare christmas dinner for the in laws I had to figure out how to make it work. Solution, used a high temp wire and wire the element to the burner. Made it thru then I bought a burner from a competitor. 4 bucks more, arrived fine and had a quality solder.I hate to write a negative review without giving the company an opportunity to correct, however it was very clear the item was used before and returned, being resold, and packaged damaged. That's poor quality controlThe burners on Viking stoves are not meant to last very long. The hot ignitor eventually burns out the holes on the burner directly adjacent and the burner doesn't light properly. This was the only replacement I could find in Canada without international shipping issues. The two replacements came quickly. However, Viking is like a european sports car. You need the specific part and it is extremely pricey. If there were lots of these burners out there you could likely get one for 1/2 the price.Fonctionne parfaitementgreat product, fast delivery.Perfect product at the right price
