I have two things to comment on: the part itself and the seller. The igniter (or glow rod) in our oven went out a couple years ago, and the price of a replacement seemed a bit extreme. So we decided we'd rather just save up for a new oven - which never happened. So we've been without for a while. When I found this listing, I jumped at it.First, the part. Obviously it costs a lot less than you'll find it listed pretty much anywhere else. Is it a "cheap replacement part"? I have no idea. For all I know, more than one company manufactures it as an original part, and this could be one of them. Quite a few oven manufacturers use this igniter design, so it's not inconceivable. In my case it's for a GE, and the little numbers on the ceramic inside aren't the same, but it's otherwise identical to the one I was replacing. And, for me, the mounting holes matched up perfectly, though it was shipped with an adapter so a different model oven might need it.One wire has a standard connector clip, the other had a bare end, and it came with wire nuts. I had to snip the wire from the old igniter and splice it because the original had a special connector. Easy enough to do. Removing the old part and putting the new one in wasn't fun, but it was fairly easy (except for one screw in the oven that had stripped). I had to work a little blindly since the part is mounted from the bottom but access is from the top, but this new part fit exactly as it should. Put the oven back together, turned the power on and set the oven to 350 degrees and... it lit right up! I couldn't be happier. No telling the longevity of its life since I just got it, but it works beautifully.Second, the seller. Ordered from Seneca River Trading, who already impress me because of the price. I ordered on May 24th and the estimated delivery was anywhere between June 3rd and June 18th. Which I thought was kind of long since I was paying for shipping, but the part was 80% cheaper than anywhere else, so I considered it well worth it. But the thing actually showed up on May 28th - a full six days before the earliest estimated date. Needless to say, I'm thoroughly impressed with this company.
