House of Living Art Enameled Cast Iron Covered Casserole Cookware Product Features Our line of enameled cast iron cookware provides an even heat distribution, leaving you worry-free about using a particular hotspot. A durable nonstick interior ensures long lasting durability that allows food to easily release from the pan. All while providing an effortless clean-up afterward. Suitable for all range stovetop (gas, electric, flat top, radiant, halogen, ceramic or induction), even open flames. Multi-functional that allows you a variety of cooking methods from searing, browning, grilling, braising or roasting to simmering. For best results, use either a slow cook or high-temperature searing method. Enamel cast iron cookware can be used on the stovetop and in the oven up to 260°C/500°F.
Enameled cast iron – Excellent for slow cooking as the enameled finish provides a great heat conductor. It’s also extremely easy to wash as the food will not stick to the surface, won’t rust, and allows for a wide variety cooking recipes.
Even heat distribution – The cast iron surface allows the heat to distribute evenly over a long period of time making it ideal for many different types of cooking. Whether you’re wanting to stir fry, slow cook, roast, sear, or bake.
Non-reactive – Safe to use with acidic foods like tomatoes and lemon juice as the enameled coating prevents any iron from the pan from being absorbed into the food.
Durable – Extremely long-lasting and heavy build quality means you won’t need to replace anytime soon.
Easy handling – Two handles for easy handling and transportation and a large sturdy knob for simple lid removal.
Received pan quickly and it was packed well. Yes, it's heavy but it's cast iron and definitely feels well made. LOVE the pale blue color!Have only used it once for a chicken dish but it heated up evenly and kept the heat (both stovetop and in the oven). The chicken did stick at bit. Cleaned up easily.The reason I couldn't give 5 stars (only 3 for "durability) was that after just the one use/wash there is already a small chip on one of the handles. It won't effect future cooking but I just hope that's not a foreshadowing of it's long term quality!I have been shopping for enameled cast iron cookware for some time. I couldn't bring myself to pay the LeCrueset prices so I tried another brand (not this one) and it arrived with paint peeling. I was skeptical to try another lower priced brand but reviews were decent so I gave it a try. I have two of these now the 2.7 and 4.7 qt. I am also ordering the 3 qt to use for casseroles. I love everything about these and the price was great! The colors happened to work for my decor so I am very happy with the selection available.My other (bigger) Dutch oven is too tall for me to safely brown meat in (I'm in a wheelchair and frankly I can't see over the top of my 6qt, so can only cook in it when Hubby is there to help!) so I ordered this little 3 qt because it's shallow and I can safely cook in it.It's a wonderful pot - the finish is easy to clean and seems as if it will be durable - it's a lovely, soothing shade of pink, good quality cast-iron - what's not to love? This will be one of my favorite kitchen tools for a long time. I love it.I LOVE this pot! First, the color is gorgeous. I bought it because I love the way cast iron cooks but I like to use soap to clean pots/dishes, etc. I have a roasted chicken recipe that I make in this pot that comes out so good...the chicken literally falls off the bone. I start by browning the whole chicken on all sides on top of the stove, in olive oil. Then throw tons of garlic cloves under the chicken and bake it for 90 minutes Lin the same pot. You can imagine what a mess the pot is by the time it comes out of the oven. Literally cleans right up with soap and water. I plan to buy everything in this line! ♥️Only giving 3 stars for the reason that it didn’t have the spikes or bumps on the lid for basting purposes. I love the color and quality for the price in compare to the ones I’ve tried purchasing but also ended up returning. This one is somewhat good enough if you are not specifically looking for that spikes or bumps on the lid.I love this Dutch oven. I needed a more shallow one and I could not be happier. It cooks evenly, has a healthy weight and makes my induction stove shine (I still do not love the induction stove) but slowly, I am collecting fab cookware such as this one. The color is bonus.I really like this little pot. It came unblemished in any way. The color is very pretty. And it is just the right size for my husband and myself and probably a guest. I haven't actually used my pot yet but I can't imagine there will be any problems. I had purchased a 4.5 quart but it was just too big for the 2 of us. If any problems I will update my review.I like this Dutch oven and have been looking for good one for a long time.Pros- It’s thick and well-made, so I expect it will last a long time.- Perfect size for small meals for just my girlfriend and I.- It’s nonstick which makes it super easy to clean. It’s everything I could ask for.Cons- I don’t like that it only comes in one color, and it happens to be one of the last colors I would want…blush pink.- It arrived slightly damaged with a few small chips along the rim. That makes me question it’s durability a littleEasy to clean, cooks well, nice shape, pretty color.I have been using the more expensive version from another well known company, this is no less , actually maybe better even. It is so easy to clean and it maintains the shine and quality inside as well . Well done House of Living !!Good product.J'ai cuit des cuisses de poulet à l'orang;
