When my oven would not light or stay lit, I immediately thought the valve was not opening to deliver the gas to ignite. After replacing the valve, the problem still existed. Further research and actually discussing with a knowledgeable technician, the recommendation was that the igniter was "worn" and wasn't allowing enough current to open the valve. Replacing the igniter ($60) truly fixed the problem. I guess by replacing both, the next to go will be the electronics module.
