I like it as it is Stong enough for what I needed. The directions were pretty easy to follow and did not take to long to put together.Relatively easy to assemble for one person. (A small electric drill is helpful.) Everything fit together well and instructions were clear. Unit is sturdy, attractive and holds a lot!Right off the bat I will say my unit arrived damaged. If it wasn't for the crack (fairly deep, about 1/4 of an inch into the wood) and terrible instructions it would have been a 5 star rating. After putting it together and taking it apart twice because the instructions didn't line up I am frustrated but happy.I recommend looking at the Amazon picture of the project when trying to figure out where certain pieces go. That I what I had to do. I jumped back and forth between the image and instructions. The screws and things were labelled well and a couple of the shelves but that is it. I also managed to fasten a shelf on upside down once but that one was just user error...The rack is very sturdy! I wanted something to get my microwave off my dishwasher and clear up some counter space and this definitely did the job! I am very disappointed that my microwave hangs over the unit a bit... But I didn't measure it so it isn't the product's fault... My microwave is just huge.The "black brown" definitely doesn't have black in it, but it IS dark brown. Brown isn't my favorite color but it is a very tolerable shade of it.Overall I am happy and the damage wasn't worth sending the unit back over. If anything changes I'll be sure to update this.The only reason I am giving this 4 stars is because it was missing a little black rubber piece that you can see on the shelf that hangs down. I am OCD so it bothers me, most people may not notice in passing. It seems sturdy enough for what it is meant for, though it isn't as tall as I envisioned which is not Amazon's fault...they gave me measurements.I would probably purchase again.Bought this as a place for our coffee bar, I got the light color wood with white and it really looks amazing. It is a tad shorter than I expected, I’m 5’9” and the small top shelf is about chest height. The main shelf comes about hip height but my girl is 5’1” so it’s perfect for her. The assembly is really easy with all necessary tools included and it stands really solid. The height after a while of using it a few times became natural so it’s no longer a problem, I just thought the overall thing was bigger but it’s no big deal. Overall a really good product for the price! Oh and it came 3 days sooner than expected so that was awesome!This is not as difficult to assemble as the reviews make it seem. I had it together in 25 minutes by myself. It was a little frustrating but the instructions are simple to follow and all pieces were labeled properly. Don't over tighten the bolts or you will break the partical board. The only complaint is that thr 2nd support bar is too long so it cannot be installed on mine. But the stand is sturdy without it anyway. It is much better quality than I expected after reading the reviews. Don't let bad reviews due to operator error scare you away from purchasing this.I got the light wood version. Loved the finish and the color of the metal railing.... until I flipped the shelves over to discover they were red. Like, a reddish brown. Well, I couldn't have that, but I liked the stand overall. So I decided to paint the underside of the top and most visible shelf with some paint I matched. Just a warning for others, since I didn't see anyone else mention that issue.The item arrived and all the screws and pieces were just everywhere inside the box. I gave it 4 stars because it’s nice and it will work for what I need it. But not happy with the fact that one of the shelves can’t be installed because it doesn’t line up so I won’t be able to use it but for about $35 I can work with it and find a way to make it work. Seems sturdy enough for a small microwave but nothing over 20 lbs. I’m just using it as a Chaffee bar table to it’s perfect for my use.We moved in to an older house that has basically no kitchen bar 3 cupboards a sink and 2 small counter tops as the previous owner was an older gent who never updated the house since it was built! So, desperate for some storage and more counter top space i had a look and found this. It's the perfect size and price. Easy to assemble and really sturdy and also came a day earlier than expected. It's going to be a while before we can get the kitchen done and once it is this will be great in my potting shed or utility room.The unit is very handy. Mine is in my art room and I use it for my printer and filing.Is perfect for what I wanted it for. Sturdy.
