I needed some new oven mitts, so purchased these. They seem well made, but a bit light weight for holding onto a hot cast iron skillet for more than a couple of seconds. Never the less, they work fine if you don't dawdle. They are a little stiff, but that hasn't been a problem.These mitts were to stiff for my liking, will purchase next ones from a store where I could try them on.Don't get them too near a burner! Seem very flammable! However once on fire they do go out,They are not stiff at all. They are attractive and fit well. They seem to be reasonably well-made, too. They are, however, very thin. I would not trust them to protect my hands with anything very hot.Good quality MittsDon't hesitate to buy these gloves. They're lightweight and work well. Not for use in extremely hot, broiler-like conditions but great on stove top.I have had these gloves for awhile now and have had no problems. I have taken things out of the oven and broiler as well as off of the stovetop and my hands have been protected. I like the pinstripes, they add a bit of pizazz without being "too much".if i wasn't so lazy i would have returned them. The colors didn't work with my kitchen and they're super stiff.
