Perfect and easy replacement, and saved buying a new range. I was able to remove the face cover from the old control board without damage by using a hair dryer and peeling it up slowly, so that's another $25 easily saved. The control board itself is a fairly simple DIY parts replacement. Six or eight screws on the back of the stove to access, four holding the control board in place, and then five wires and one multi-connector to plug in. If you're nervous about mixing up the wires take a photo of them before you unplug from the old panel. For background, our old oven control had started shutting off intermittently, usually while the oven was on. So in the middle of cooking something, the display would go black and the oven would just turn off. And then sometime later, the clock would light back up and it would be like nothing had happened ... until the next time. If your stove works fine, and your oven heats up like it's supposed to, except your control board is on the fritz, this is what you need. (Obviously make sure it's the right one for your specific model.)
