Replaced 20 yr old anolon 12 in skillet with this. New pan is 5 qt, deeper than older 4 1/2 qt. Love the deeper sides. Use this almost every dayIt's a decent straining pot, especially for the price. The issue is with Angel hair and regular Spaghetti.. There is a gap open under the two straining sections of the lid because the pot has spouts that create the gap. You have to use the spouts to strain so there's no choice. Angel hair and regular spaghetti easily finds it way to these gaps. It's great for just about all other pastas though. Well made and easy to clean.My wife really likes this thing. It is easy to clean, seems very well made, and is built like a tank. My only negative is also has the weight of a tank. My wife is not able to pick it up by the handle alone which she doesn't like. It is a 2 handed job to dump and move for her. Other than that, it is a great pan.easy to clean. cooks as expected. not flimsy. lid fits just loose enough that it doesn't dig into the wall, and won't lock get stuck on. the handle is easy to hold and turn. the pour function is nice. it does get heavy with fluid in it to pour,, but that is mostly the food. use the sink to support the bottom and hold the lid and you will be just fine. would buy again.The weight and size of the pan are as expected. Non-stick function thus far seems good. However, the glass lid makes scary noises when it's on the hot pan (even on simmer setting). Never had a pan lid that sound like it might explode into pieces until now. Seems like a material or design flaw. So far, no emergency visits needed. Fingers crossed.Thick pot with great lid. Can drain with lid on due to holes on spouts. Easy to clean.I have the 2 qt Analon pot, good for smaller quantities...but needed this 3 qt for a full 10 oz package of pasta...perfect! When full of water and ready to strain into the sink, this pot can be heavy...but I’m able to pour and hold the lid in place well enough. Heats the water fast and boils/simmers evenly. I expect this pot to last for years...cleans up beautifully with the nonstick surface.Fantastic for an oatmeal pan! Cabe aprox 750cc.Extraordinario para salsas.Ordered the pan based on the item or product dimensions, only to receive a much smaller pan. The dimensions listed are for the product box and not the pan (which is almost 9" diameter and not nearly 12"). but great non-stick and weight.The perfect pan. I have been using it for a month and it does everything. Great for popping into the oven. I will review again in a year.
