Yeah, I love my new oven mitts. They are a bit stiff at the moment. I'm hoping that they soften up soon. The last pair I had was from my wedding and they were 12 years old!! Getting pretty thin. So I'm very happy to have new ones. These are nice and thick so no more burned fingers!I didn't think I'd have to go on line to order oven mitts, but not the case. I wanted mitts that didn't have silicone, rubber, kevlar, or mithril. I also didn't want ribbons, bows, or chickens. Just a pair of plain mitts that would bend with my hands, have a thumb in the general area where my thumb is, fit my small hands and also my husband's large ones, and not end at my armpits Finally, they had to be able to go into the washing machine. These answered my needs, and by the way at a much better price than all those fancy ones.The plus is that these oven mitts, while quite large when new, shrink and thicken with laundering so offer a thick buffer between hands and hot items. The minus is that the inside seams are not finished and fray badly when the mitts are laundered. I expected better quality with finished seams but these were made in China where quality suffers to lower the cost of products. I would prefer to pay a little more for quality construction.After a couple of months use and further laundering, the fraying of the inside seams has only gotten worse. These oven mitts have been relegated to the garage with other items that will be put out for the next community garage sale.Purchased 4/26/2013$7.49I wanted an oven mitt that would hang straight, not at an angle, but the tab isn't located vertically in the center as pictured; it's on the thumb side, positioned horizontally.This was shipped and received as promised. This product delivers what it promises. I would recommend that you try this. It's a wonderful product.For some reason oven mitts are rather hit and miss. I've had a great many that are either made of a rather poor material that over time degrades, or that simply don't offer proper protection at high heat.This product is excellent and I'd highly recommend it. It's long enough to protect your wrist and lower arm, made of a quality material that will easily wash if it gets dirty and protects against high heat without issue.Not real snazzy but serviceable. It's a little big, but at least it keeps me from getting burned. I was looking for green to match my kitchen, and it certainly does that.Looks and feels great. Washes up just fine in the washer. But it allows HEAT to COME THROUGH!!!! It's purpose is to keep the heat OUT. I would give it only one star, but it's so pretty and comfortable.IS NOT ROOMY ENOUGH FOR MY HANDS AND CAN'T PICK UP POTS WITH THESE
